A Licensed Security Agency Serving Toronto and the GTA
Choosing a security company in Toronto starts with one question: is it licensed? Regal Security Inc. holds Ontario security agency licence #118836 under the Private Security and Investigative Services Act. You can confirm it in the Ontario public registry. From our Mississauga head office, we serve sites throughout Toronto and the GTA. Our Vancouver office, at 9440 202 Street, Suite 118, Langley, BC V1M 4A6, serves British Columbia. British Columbia licensing is separate from the Ontario agency licence.

How do I check if a security company is licensed in Ontario?
Ask for the company's agency licence number and search it in the Ontario public registry run by ServiceOntario. Regal Security Inc.'s agency licence number is 118836.
Do security guards need a licence in Ontario?
Yes. Under the Private Security and Investigative Services Act, anyone working as a security guard must hold a valid licence, and agencies may only employ licensed guards. Guards must carry their licence on duty and show it on request.
What is the difference between a security agency and a security guard company?
In Ontario, they are the same thing. Any business that sells security guard services needs a provincial agency licence. A licensed agency like Regal Security® hires, trains and supervises the guards who protect your property.
How much does a security guard cost in Toronto?
Cost depends on the number of guards, hours of coverage, site type and duties. Use our quote tool or call 1 (888) 633-8550 for pricing for your property.
Do you offer mobile patrol instead of a full-time guard?
Yes. Mobile patrol provides scheduled and unscheduled inspections and emergency response where full-time coverage isn't needed.
