Industries We Serve: Security Services in Toronto and the GTA
Condos, offices, retail, hospitals, construction sites, airports and industrial properties each carry different risks and different rules. Regal Security® builds a program for yours, staffed by licensed guards and reported in Kovrra.
One Licensed Security Partner, Programs Built Around Your Industry
A hospital lobby and a construction site at 2 a.m. need different people, different post orders and different reporting. Regal Security Inc. holds Ontario security agency licence #118836, and Regal Security (B.C.) Inc. is licensed in BC. From our Mississauga head office we serve Toronto and the GTA, and our Langley office serves Metro Vancouver.
Every program starts with your site, your risks and the obligations you answer for, then puts the right mix of guards, patrols and technology in place.

01
Condo and Apartment Security
Concierge guards manage visitors, deliveries and contractors, patrol common areas and parkades, and document incidents for the board.
Healthcare Security That Supports Your Workplace Violence Program
Under Ontario's Occupational Health and Safety Act, hospitals and other health care employers must have a workplace violence program, and that program must include a way to summon immediate assistance when violence occurs or is likely. Security guards are often part of that answer.
Regal's healthcare programs include:
Patient-centred security: measures designed with clinical teams so safety supports care.
High-risk patient watch: trained guards who monitor patients who may harm themselves or others, with care and professionalism.
Emergency department coverage: guards prepared for aggressive behaviour in high-pressure areas.
Workplace violence prevention support: training and support so your staff can recognize and respond to threats.
Parking and grounds: patrols of parking structures and assistance for staff and visitors.
Consulting: risk assessments and training tailored to your facility.
Construction Site Security, Built Around Cost Control
Not every site needs a guard every night. We attend your site, complete an assessment and give you a report written with cost control in mind. If cameras will do the job, that is what we recommend. If the site needs traffic control, we can provide it. When high-value equipment or finishes arrive, we add guards for exactly as long as the risk lasts.
Internal theft: background checks and vetting processes for subcontractors.
External theft and trespass: guards trained to monitor the site, plus surveillance systems to deter and detect.
Threats of violence: guards prepared to keep workers safe.
Sites where guards aren't practical: remote monitoring with real-time alerts through our electronic security affiliates.
Under the Canadian Aviation Security Regulations, 2012, anyone in an airport restricted area without a Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC) must be escorted by someone holding an active RAIC, or kept under surveillance in a defined construction or maintenance area. The escort and the person escorted must stay together the whole time. A RAIC requires a Transport Canada Transportation Security Clearance.
Regal provides:
RAIC contractor escorts: guards who accompany contractors, check credentials and keep work inside the rules.
AVOPS driver escorts: oversight of drivers and vehicles entering restricted areas.
Fire watch: trained fire watch guards for construction and maintenance activity.

Condominiums and apartments, commercial high-rise and office buildings, retail, healthcare and hospitals, construction sites, airports and industrial properties across Toronto and the GTA.
Do hospitals in Ontario use private security guards?
Many do. Ontario's Occupational Health and Safety Act requires health care employers to have a workplace violence program that includes a way to summon immediate assistance, and licensed security guards are often part of it.
Do construction sites need security guards every night?
Not always. We assess the site and recommend the lowest-cost option that controls the risk, such as cameras with remote monitoring, patrols, or guards during high-value phases.
Who can escort contractors in an airport restricted area?
A person holding an active Restricted Area Identity Card issued to them. The Canadian Aviation Security Regulations require the escort and the escorted person to stay together.
Can security guards be trained for my site's specific rules?
Yes. Every Regal program includes written post orders for your site, and guards are trained on its procedures before their first shift, on top of their provincial licence training.
Are your security guards licensed?
Yes. Ontario law requires every security guard to hold an individual licence and agencies to employ only licensed guards. Regal Security Inc. holds Ontario agency licence #118836.
