What it is

What Is the Integrity Hotline?

The Integrity Hotline is an anonymous employee hotline delivered through a secure web portal. People in your organization can report misconduct, unethical behaviour or safety concerns, or send praise, and choose whether to stay anonymous or give their name. Each report gets a unique case ID and an access code. The reporter uses the code to check status and reply to your reviewers, still anonymously.

Regal Security runs the Integrity Hotline. The same company provides licensed security guards across Ontario and BC and private investigations in Ontario.

Features

What the Integrity Hotline Does for Your Organization

  • Anonymous or named reporting

Reporters choose how much to disclose through a secure, encrypted web interface. A dedicated praise channel recognizes individuals and teams, so the hotline isn't only for problems.

  • Your brand

A custom-branded portal with your organization's name and messaging, with custom intake forms and automated notifications.

  • Access-code follow-up

Reporters check status and answer questions with a unique access code, anonymously, through encrypted two-way messaging.

  • Automatic routing

Each report goes to the right internal reviewer based on its content and category, such as HR, safety, ethics or praise, in a secure case dashboard with role-based access.

  • Case tracking and trends

Every report has a case ID and an audit log, plus monthly usage and trend reports for leadership.

  • Rollout support

Communication templates and internal training support for launch.

How it works

How an Anonymous Report Works

  1. 01

    Submit

An employee opens your branded portal and completes the intake form for a concern or for praise, anonymously or named.

  2. 02

    Receive a code

The report gets a unique case ID, and the reporter gets an access code.

  3. 03

    Route

The report goes automatically to the designated reviewer for that category, with an alert.

  4. 04

    Follow up

Reviewers ask questions through encrypted two-way messaging; the reporter replies using the access code without revealing who they are.

  5. 05

    Resolve and record

Reviewers document actions in the case dashboard, and the audit log keeps the record.

  6. 06

    Learn

Monthly trend reports show leadership where issues, and recognition, are concentrated.

Ontario workplace harassment reporting

A Reporting Channel Outside the Chain of Command

Ontario's Occupational Health and Safety Act requires employers to have a written workplace harassment program. The program must give workers a way to report incidents to someone other than the employer or supervisor when that person is the alleged harasser. An anonymous hotline routed to a designated reviewer is one practical way to provide that channel. Your program, policy and investigations still have to meet the Act. Talk to your legal or HR adviser about your obligations.

Questions

Integrity Hotline: Frequently Asked Questions

Questions? info@integrityhotline.com

Or call 1 (888) 633-8550.

What is an integrity hotline?

An integrity hotline is a confidential channel employees use to report misconduct, unethical behaviour or safety concerns, usually anonymously. Integrity Hotline™, run by Regal Security, also lets employees recognize good work.

Is the Integrity Hotline anonymous?

Yes. Reporters can submit anonymously or with their name. Anonymous reporters follow up and reply using a unique access code, without revealing who they are.

Who sees the reports?

Only the reviewers your organization designates. Reports are routed by category to those people, and the case dashboard uses role-based access.

What happens after someone submits a report?

The report gets a case ID and goes to the designated reviewer with an alert. The reviewer can ask questions through encrypted messaging, and every action is logged until the case is closed.

Does Ontario require a way to report harassment outside the chain of command?

Yes. Under Ontario's Occupational Health and Safety Act, an employer's workplace harassment program must let workers report to someone other than the employer or supervisor when that person is the alleged harasser.

Can employees use it to give praise?

Yes. A dedicated praise channel lets employees recognize individuals and teams, anonymously if they choose.
